I don’t think Trump is concerned about the opinions of any of the underwhelming members of the British royal family, including the present queen. The so-called prestige of the Firm’s brand has taken a beating during the past few decades, including just recently. They get more downmarket by the year.

Trump has such a true and pure love and admiration for our vets and our fallen heroes. It almost brings a tear to my eye to see a President back in the WH who has respect for our armed forces.
Trump read Kim before they even met and that “first minute” thing was just to confirm.
I think the whole back and forth between them right up to and insluding the summit was designed to empower Kim.
The us gov already has a huge psych profile on Kim I’m sure and Pompeo is privy to it, being ex-CIA Director.
Between Pompeo and Trump, I think Kim knows we ain’t screwin’ around.
I agree.....and from Kims position he wanted someone to hear him that he thought could answer his questions and strong enough to see his vision of how he wanted things to change and how to get there. Talking with Trump one on one, long before the Summit, the two ran into the barriers of the ‘old system’ run by those who wanted things to stay as they are. It was indeed dangerous and tricky for Kim. When Trump said Kims tough it’s because he’s survived the old stronghold...and smart because he turned to Trump which immediately broke the China stronghold on Kim. So China had to deal with Trump and Kimi and the s Koreans to fix this.
The hand delivered letters to Trump were NOT just for show. But to bypass the,let’s say, static in the lines of communication. This is also why all the communication lines etc. between the Koreans are being totally reconstructed.
