Didn't I read on FR a few weeks ago that there are some FBI agents ( don't know how many) who are trying to work out a deal for Congress to subpoena them because they're eager to tell what they know?
Maybe someone here remembers more about this than I do.

Yes; you read correctly. They were begging to be subpoened so they could spill their guts. Then I read they’d backed off from that, realizing that, subpoena or no subpoena, there would be hell to pay when they returned to work. I assume they had been threatened.
