The day after Donald Trump was elected president, an FBI employee engaged in an “instant message” conversation with an FBI attorney who had worked on the Clinton email investigation, then moved to the Russian meddling investigation, and would later become an attorney working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller on that investigation.
Speaking of Trump’s election, the FBI employee told the FBI lawyer: “You promised me this wouldn’t happen. YOU PROMISED.”
Later, in the same instant messaging exchange, according to the inspector general's report released today, the FBI attorney responded: “I am just devastated. I can’t wait until I can leave and just shut off the world for the next four days.”
This same FBI attorney then lamented that the newly elected Trump would likely dismantle the “progress” the outgoing President Obama had achieved.
“I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we have made over the last 8 years,” he said. “The ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls, and crap is true.”
“We have to fight this again,” he went on to say.
“Also,” he said, “Pence is stupid.”
The other FBI employee with whom this FBI attorney was instant messaging expressed his view that Trump voters were "all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS."

So many of us waited for this report............. and it was a cop out.
It is a disgusting bitter day today in America, as most people who wanted at least a hint of justice .....GOT NONE.
J. Edgar Hoover spent decades seeing to it that the FBI dedicated itself to protecting the Constitution. Then came Bush I, Clinton, Bush II and Obama who all saw the FBI as a political weapon and so we have this CYOA mess that we have today.
These people are the roots of the deep state. Trust me when I tell you there are people at all levels of the federal government who have no issue abusing their position to further leftist political positions. It is just like these FBI agents at low levels who gave information to leftist writers and reporters, for a price of course.

Well that’s racist if I ever read a racist statement, but since it’s racist against whites, it just rolls off his tongue (fingers) without a second thought. Now what may sound racist, but is also true, is that that statement, other than the part about voting for Trump, would much more accurately refer to blacks in general, as a group. And blacks, much more than whites, vote as a bloc, for ‘rats. If that weren’t so, that POS Hussein could never have been elected, because he had to have a good percentage of white votes to get elected.

I don’t think there are many laws which apply to ‘rats in good standing (read, “electable”). The left had a hissy fit when President Trump said that his voters would vote for him if he killed someone in broad daylight in the middle of 5th Ave, but they’re the ones who actually did vote for a murderer, many years before, and repeatedly-Swimmer Kennedy. Who would believe that a man could just walk away and go lie down and go to sleep, after leaving a woman to die a slow terrifying death, and not having lifted a finger to try to save her? And then be elected and re-elected for decades, and lionized as some great statesman? The man who, with another senator, thought it was funny to make a “sandwich” of some poor waitress? I don’t expect any Kennedy to have a sense of shame, but what in the hell was wrong with Democrat Massachusetts voters to keep voting for this man? They weren’t overlooking just some rascally rogue womanizer, they were giving a pass to a man who committed cold-blooded murder. Did it ever go through his mind, the death he left that poor woman to die? Maybe that’s one reason why he was a drunk.

frustrating to see Fox news crawls going across the screen with short bits on IG report, error of judgement by Comey going public just prior to the election re Wiener laptop Clinton emails, but no bias.
no mention FBI sat on the story for weeks, or how Comey only went public because SDNY were asking questions.
but then lengthy crawls going on and on and on about Trump foundation rubbish, which is just more political anti-Trump propaganda designed to distract from the IG report.
