They are paper weights. I think their fantasy is that after they repeal the 2nd Amendment, and collect ALL your guns, you'll have no way to get an AR. THEN they can force you to bake that cake.

Incidentally, I don't think that Grewal is this stupid. This is Murphy, lead by Moms-With-WAAAAY-Too-Much-Time-On-Their-Hands. He thinks that this will make him President. (He has much less chance than Christie.)

At the presser some weeks ago announcing release of NJ firearms statistics that anyone could find on the internet in less than a minute, both Grewal and the SP director had that "I have no ******* idea why I am here" look on their faces.

“It went to the dogs years ago. Now the jackals are moving in on the carcass.”

I’m glad that I got out of that Leftist $hithole 17 1/2 years ago. I didn’t leave because of the gun issue, but that issue was most definitely NOT on my list of reasons to stay there.

BTW, while passing the “Welcome to Delaware” sign on the way out of the PRNJ, I turned to my wife and said, “Well, now you won’t have to worry about bailing me out of jail.”

She gave me the pie-eyes and asked why. I then explained NJ’s totally fascist and illegal “Assault Weapons Ban,” including the prohibition on owning any mags that can hold more than 15 rounds.

She asked how many of them I had, and I said, “Oh, about 200 years’ worth in Rahway State Prison.” She turned white as a sheet, and said nothing for about 15 seconds (which is REALLY uncharacteristic of her, take my word for it), and then asked if they had laws like that in Texas.

“No, Texas is in America.”

Screw NJ and its Leftist, tyrannical leaders and voters - up the rear end, with a running chain saw.

Ironically, I’m going back there for a family reunion this summer...without my .45, I’m going to feel quite naked for a few days.

You know, I’ve been on the fence about spending the bucks for a router, a jig and some 80% receivers. But now, as a former prisoner of the Peoples Republik of New Joisey, and seeing this story, my mind is made up - I’m buying, just because I CAN. To Hell with NJ and its tyrannical leaders, and its sheople voters.

“THEN they can force you to bake that cake.”

If you have sufficient neurons to bake a cake the right way (without regard to the message on the cake, of course), then you also have sufficient neurons to drill out an 80% receiver, buy the parts necessary to make it into a functioning firearm, and assemble into a functioning firearm. Yeah, you might have to do some of that purchasing out of state, but I’ll go back to having sufficient neurons...it isn’t that hard. FWIW, I acquired a couple dozen >15 round magazines while a NJ resident, and after it was illegal to do so....I just bought them out of state (and the most enjoyable such purchase was delivered to my office in NY-F’ing-City, and carried home on the NJ Transit train - I got a real good chuckle out of that one).

I lived in NJ until the age of 12 and I loved living there. I still miss family and friends from there. But as an adult I would not be able to stand it. The weather alone would do me in after all these years in Florida.
