Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Letting in gang members who have a fear of persecution by other gang members whose gangs are bigger and tougher is sound domestic policy. People who lose gang wars in Mexico are just as likely to lose gang wars in the United States. What America needs are wimpier gang members, who are less likely to shoot it out with the police or their neighbors, because if they were any good at it, they’d be shooting it out with their Mexican neighbors and the Mexican police. Thus, America will be safer and more peaceful if we’d only let in more wimpy gang members.
Instead of hearing drive-by shootings in the heat of the urban summer night, you’d be hearing drive-by sissy slapping and hair pulling. ER’s would be treating scratches and bites instead of gunshot wounds.
