Battered women were being let in....which is ridiculous that they would come from central America to escape their husband! LOLOOL
Too many women claimed to be battered to justify welfare and illegal immigration. And they could have easily found shelter elsewhere in their home country.
It is an excuse meant to tug our heartstrings, not reality in most cases.
