What a difference between this man and I am sorry to say, Senator John McCain who's military service I respect but not his bitter rants.
My wife and I loved Charles. This is so sad. Prayers and candles for his soul.
Didn’t always agree with him, but his comments always seemed well thought out and delivered with class. Two things sorely missing in a lot of commentary today. People like him will be missed.
As others have remarked, what a classy and dignified way to exit, unlike McCain.
God bless Dr. K. May angles sing thee to thy rest.
He played the cards dealt him and played them better than even God could imagine... He's a good man - he'll be missed.
I hate cancer
“...final stages of a losing battle with cancer...”
Ultimately, that crap always wins...
It’s a Shame. I’m saddened to hear it.
Two words to remember Kraut by: Walter Mondale.
Prayers sent to Charles Krauthammer and his family.
If anyone could persuade me to change my mind on an issue, it was him. He’s brilliant and honest. His arguments are always well-reasoned and compel you to sit up and consider what he’s saying. Unlike many pundits who you can dismiss the minute they open their mouths. Prayers up for him (I’m not going to say I’ll miss him because prayers can produce miracles!).
I am sorry to hear. May his remaining time be comfortable and meaningful. What a tough life the guy has had.
Very sad.
So sad, my. Dad had a stroke Easter 2017 and died June 12.
It has been a year. Damn you cancer.
Charles brought a coherent germane commentary that was easy to understand. I did not always agree but more than not. He has had a difficult life ,if not tragic but he loved to think and articulate his thoughts as only he could. Great impact on conservative thinking.
Damn.
The path Charles takes from here will be marked by the struggle ensuing between him, his intellectual pride and the question of God.
I hope Charles will see the limits of his intellect and of his morality, allowing the greater light to shine through. I pray that in recognizing his own resistance Charles will find that greatest human wisdom through humility, rejection of self and submission to the person of Truth.

May his last days on earth be peaceful.
What a shame. That is sad news.
Every day since his accident has been a gift.
While I don’t know anyone who has raced headlong into the grave. But I don’t think there is anyone who can make that trip with his head held high and knowing he’s beaten the odds.
