Another person, like Kate Spade, who seemingly had it all, and it wasn’t enough to get through whatever mental problems they had.

That's probably the case. They'd reached the pinnacle of their careers and were depressed that it was "finis".

Kate Spade was separated from her husband of over 20 years and was being treated for severe depression and anxiety.

As for Bourdain, I’ll not be a hypocrite. I’m shedding no tears because he was a contemptible slug who stated that he would happily poison Trump if given the opportunity.

I do feel for his daughter, though. But that’s far as my sympathy goes.

I’m too busy mourning my friend who was found dead yesterday by her husband. She was a much better person than Bourdain.
