All washers are racist-—you are told to ‘wash whites & colored separately’ !!!

“Only a stupid idiot would believe it.”

Moonbeam signed Senate Bill No. 606 and AB 1668, which says:

SEC. 6. Section 10608.20 of the Water Code is amended to read:
10608.20. (A) For indoor residential water use, 55 gallons per capita daily water use as a provisional standard.

So, they need to modify their lifestyle to accommodate the new rules.
1.Do dishes by hand, save the water to flush.
2.Get an old fashioned ringer washer in which you do all your loads in one tub. whites first, then coloreds, then others. Save all water in tubs to flush

This is guidance for a country in decline and/or under siege.

Q: How did they light their homes in Venezuela before they used candles?
A: With electricity, duh!

This has got to be satire! But this is California and Jerry Brown, so nothing is out of the realm of possibilty.

Brown is satire.

Government cannot know how much went to the landscape and how much was consumed inside.””

OF COURSE THEY CAN-—Multiple meters on your property.

The farmers would disagree. Agriculture is big business in California.

oh, and this is a quintessential socialist/”progressive” “solution”: create artificial shortages and then impose severe restrictions with severe fines ...

We were always taught that such evaporation [consumptive use] was recycled by God with more rain......

This is true globally, but not locally. At one of the water seminars held here in the county, I asked the panel of hydrologists whether evaporative losses in an irrigated agricultural area raised the downwind humidity enough to significantly increase rainfall in the region downwind. The answer was: "No. In practice, the humidity just keeps on going and eventually contributes to rainfall somewhere else in the world." The only significant non-consumptive aspects of irrigation are 1) excess runoff that goes back into the river and 2) excess ground soak the ends up in the local aquifer.

However, it is possible for the locally-increased humidity several miles downwind from an irrigated area to reduce the effectiveness of "swamp coolers;" and my plumber believes this is significant in this part of the county. This is one reason I replaced my swamp cooler with central air.

Believe it or not that was tried recently in Texas. Of course that went over like a lead balloon.

Standard. As an allocation to water companies on a per capita basis, in addition to an allocation they receive for outdoor landscape based on acreage and regional climate.

Again, only a stupid idiot would believe government will be monitoring their flushes and showers.

I’m doubling down.

Um, we have meters on the water lines coming into our homes. The water co will do the math and turn your ass in to moonbeam. Then you get your water shut off and fined. You’re to funny calling this a joke.

They don’t even have a single meter at every home yet and it’s anticipated it will take until 2040 to achieve that.

But it’s been the law since 2010.

They need to encourage the use of graywater for lawns, plus other multiple use options.

I live in an upscale Sacramento neighborhood and I do not have a water meter.

It is estimate to take until 2040 before every abode in CA does have one.

And that would be ONLY one. It would take two to allocate outdoor watering and indoor use.

“Again, only a stupid idiot would believe government will be monitoring their flushes and showers.”

Same thing was said before the lo-flo flush toilets and all the other restrictions.

“They’re going to restrict toilet flushes to half of current to 1.5 gallons.
“That stupid to believe it!”

“They’re going to restrict water your lawn!”
“That stupid to believe it!”

“They’re going to ban smoking in bars!”
“That stupid to believe it!”

“They’re going to restrict water use to 55 gallons per person per day!”
“That stupid to believe it!”

Only an idiot would keep claiming “That stupid to believe it!” long after they’ve been doing these things.
