Thank you for posting that Rurudyne! It has proven to be a provocative glimpse into the thought processes of the leftist mind. I’ve bookmarked that page and will be studying it for a while.

I know that I mock leftists by claiming that they do not think - they emote (largely if not literally true). I recall when the left seized upon the poorly phrased statement from Kellyanne Conway about “alternate facts”. They felt that they had caught her in a linguistic logic trap (”There can only be one set of facts!”). What they were glossing over is the tendency of the left to omit or summarily dismiss factors that, although dismissed or omitted, remain facts.

The author talks about right vs. left attitudes relative to the passing of Osama Bin Laden and Margaret Thatcher. The right generally cheered Bin Laden’s death and mourned Thatcher’s passing. For the left it was exactly the opposite.

My favorite part (so far) is a look at attitudes (again left vs. right) towards America. Leftists cannot find enough things to be critical or condemnatory about their mother country whereas all the iconography emblematic of America (Baseball, apple pie, pickup trucks, etc) are distinctively right-wing.

Being critical of America or white people is how the Left demonstrates that they wouldn’t have been like THOSE Americans.

But instead they resemble those our Lord addressed when he said that they build up the tombs of the prophets, giving witness that they were the offspring of their murderers. But instead of acknowledging what they thought was their motives was he went on to say that therefore he was going to send them other prophets etc so that when they (who said they wouldn’t kill the prophets) mistreat them in their turn the guilt for all the blood ever shed would fall on them.

So consider again how the writer says that the Left is like “liberal Christianity” without Christ. In Romans 1:18-32 it is those who refuse to retain knowledge of God that are in danger of being turned over to a reprobate mind.

Now, I’m not here confusing “America” with the Gospel but I’m just pointing out that these same people who implicitly act as if THEY wouldn’t have done this or that, that their America would have been very different that the America all us Deplorables are part of, are ALSO folks who give every evidence of not retaining knowledge of God ... so what will THEY do with their America should they have the chance?

Will they who have built monuments in stone and rhetoric to the victims of the old America, and are tearing down Monuments to the old America, be worse than the old America ever was or what?

They assume and assert they will be better but how many times have we heard about their friendliness to the same revolution that has repeadly created gulags? How many times have we asked them why they don’t feel it should be a vital concern for them that fellow travelers of theirs have actually speculated about killing millions of Americans who cannot be reeducated?

I was going to post a funny quip about reading that guy’s page and envisioning settling into the hunter’s blind and adopting the local coloration so that I could observe the critters in a more candid setting. And then I clicked the link to Larry Grathwohl calmly recounting how his contemps plotted our murders.
