They could make it that the Trump admin was somehow responsible for Roseanne’s death and now the whole family has gone MSNBC leftist and hates him. Make the cross dressing gender confused gay kid the focus of the show. That should get them all the lefty brownie points they need to stay on the air forever.

Or they could keep the character. Just have her be played by a different person. That’s what happened to Darrin on the old ‘Bewitched’ show.
So who could the new Roseanne be? It would have to be someone uber-PC. Rosie O’donnell? Melissa McCarthy?
As an aside, it really wouldn’t matter to me. I didn’t like the old show, didn’t like the new show.
