Rubio, in challenge to Trump, suggests Congress will act against ZTE
The Washington Post ^ | May 27, 2018 | Karoun Demirjian

In a direct challenge to President Trump, Sen. Marco Rubio suggested Sunday that Congress would take steps to prevent the Chinese tech firm ZTE from being able to operate in the United States.

Trump had announced last week that he would allow the telecom giant to ”reopen,” in a stunning reversal after the United States had imposed

[snip] The senator did not go into specifics about what kind of legislative measure Congress might pursue to block the president. The annual defense authorization bills being considered in Congress already contain a prohibition on the federal government using Huawei and ZTE products. Rubio has also proposed legislation that would do the same, as well as ban sales of intellectual property and “national security sensitive technology” to China.

So...how fast did Rubio get on the sex-perv payoff list?!? Sounds like they are calling in a favor so they stay quiet.

[Rubio is a jackass who is working an angle. No need to speculate there.]

His angle, like Kasich’s, is 2020. In the final few months of the GOP primaries, Rubio, along with Kasich, had no hope of clinching the nomination and could have gotten out and improved Cruz’s odds of beating Trump. Instead, Rubio and Kasich hung in there, because they thought Cruz would beat Hillary, meaning 2020 would be out of the question as a popular Cruz ran for re-election, whereas they believed Hillary would beat Trump, and they’d get another bite at the apple in 2020. Today, Rubio thinks Trump is too difficult to primary in 2020, and he’d rather try his chances with Pence. So he’s throwing a few land mines in Trump’s direction, hoping to get Democratic majorities in Congress in order that Trump is impeached and removed in order that he might go up against Pence in 2020. If Trump is impeached, I hope that kills Rubio’s White House chances in 2020 and his Senate re-election bid in 2022.

Rubio thinks he’s going to replace John McCain. Why didn’t he keep his word and become a private citizen. I voted against him in the primary but not enough did. Too bad.

Don’t know what Trump is up to with this. I really don’t.

A. You don’t have to know. You’re not President. If you can’t trust the man who is, that’s your problem.

B. You DO, however, trust this lisping little back-stabbing roach Rubio, who has shown again and again that he’ll say or do anything to get his face on television and name on the news. With McCain having reservations on the expressway to hell, it looks like the Deep State has chosen Little Marco to be their new annoying little political poodle.

Ted Cruz could NEVER ... E V E R ... be popular. He has the personality of a snake and all the likability of a cockroach. You’re in utter fantasy-land if you think he could have EVER won the Republican nomination, and even more so if you think he would have been popular as President.

But at least we know there’s at least one person on planet earth who seems like Ted as much as Ted likes Ted. I didn’t think it was possible.

Good Post - Rubio is testing the 2020 waters. He knows Kasich is not a threat. Kasich couldn’t even win Ohio in a 2020 primary race.

I think he needs China to help him with the NORKs right now so he is doing what he needs to do to keep them onboard. Once the NORK thing is over I expect he will act differently toward China than he is acting now.

Not to mention that Cubans born in Canada are even less eligible than Cubans born here.

Neither Rubio or Cruz are natural born citizens.
Both born with foreign citizenship from foreign national parent(s).

Rubio wants to be president, people must never forget that. He’s been laying low hoping to see Trump stumble, and now getting desperate.

Rubio isn’t the brightest bulb in the box. Someday he is going to run for POTUS again. Does he think we won’t remember his treachery? Does he not remember how we supported him in that Primary that got him in the Senate and that we will support someone else to Primary him?

Just another McNasty-following POS.

Shut your mouth, Rubio. You’re just keeping the seat warm until an adult arrives.
