But remember, Publix caved within a heartbeat of being told Hogg was upset with their support of a political candidate he didn't like.
I don't know the details of who Publix is or who their management is, but from my point of view of what they've done, they are what's wrong with this society lately. Nobody is willing to stand their ground and stand up for what they believe.
What Hogg has done is no different than forcing PC language off on to our society. He has forced a business into doing what he wants, not what they want. It is cultural Marxism.
They have buckled their backbones into pretzels trying to comply with this little weasel's sophomoric, juvenile, petulant demands.
They are cowards, cowering in fear of their own shadow.
This is what Jesse Jackson and his Rainbow Coalition used to do (and may still do for all I know) to corporations to extort them for money and action or he'd threaten boycotts, black anger and bad press.
What Publix should have done is to continue their support of their political candidate, made a public statement that they would not be pressured or threatened into making their decisions by protests from those who aren't their customers and then called law enforcement to their stores to remove them when these people showed up and laid down on the floor, disrupting their business for their regular, paying customers.
So can these people be removed by the business? Absolutely, but they wee-weed their panties and sided with Hogg.
