Interesting that he used the phrase quiet revolution.
Once-Catholic Quebec is now the most non-religious place on the planet.

Already the reception centers are full, soon to be overflowing with Africans and Asians who do not kill their babies. Even without dismembering their babies, white Irish women are already well below replacement birth rates.
Ireland, being small, will disappear very quickly.

The population of Ireland in 1841 (considered the first reliable census) was 8.2 million. The population today is just above 4.7 million. They have never recovered from the Great Famine.
The fertility rate in 1970 was 3.7 (above replacement), but as of 2018 has dropped to 1.9 (higher than USA, by the way, but below replacement). The fertility rate will unquestionably plummet with the legalization of abortion.
Bottom line --- barring a demographic miracle the likes of which has never been seen in modern society --- they will never recover.

>>Some pope (was it Pius IX?) said all the errors of the modern world are caused by Catholics not living and acting like Catholics.<<
As I Understand your comments, it appears that we are basically in agreement regarding the issues under discussion. I will try to identify the pope who made the statement you’ve referred to, because it supports the essence of my comment to which you first responded.
