Hey, there, radu!

How goes it tonight. How was the visit to the museum today? Hope there were lots of folks who wanted to spend the weekend with the actual items that our troops used through the decades!

Is the weather pretty there? We saw 103 on our front porch. Needless to say, I stayed indoors. I can’t handle it. LOL!

Howdy, LUV.

Tail feathers are draggin’ a bit tonight but it was a great day. Just a little too early for my tastes. LOL!
Had a really good day at the museum. Most of the people who stopped in to check it out were younger folks - 20s and early 30s - and all were pumped about the place.
We were surprised there weren’t veterans but I figure they were at area VFWs, American Legions, etc. enjoying activities that had been planned for them.

OUCH!! That’s too hot! Can’t blame you a bit for staying indoors in the A/C today.

It was pretty toasty here, and muggy. Pop-up showers sprang up everywhere but here ..... until around 7:00 when the bottom dropped out. We got .35 an inch in about 5 minutes and poof, it was over as quickly as it started.
The weather for the next week is going to be pretty much the same with rain chances increasing as the storm in the Gulf gets closer.

Howdy, PRO.

Hate that I got here too late to catch you still here. It sounds like you had a grand time today with your sister and your son. Range time! WOOHOO!

Howdy, Kathy.

Hope you had a relaxing day to recuperate from the crazy week you had.

Any rain at all or have you had to water the new grass seed every day?

I’ll bet you ARE tired....in a good way! Getting up early sux and I have to do it in the morning. I’m already watching the clock so I don’t go to sleep at 3am like I did last night. LOL!

Great that the museum had a good turnout. Maybe next military holiday, the troops at the VFW, etc, can get a group together and come in a bus or something. Maybe someone would donate it for them. Just thinkin’.

So glad you got a nice rain, but not so good that it made it muggy. I would love some. :) It’s nearly too hot to water. it would just burn it. I guess he’ll have to water at night. Can’t wait for the heat to pass, since it’s going to be over 100 for at least 1 1/2 weeks. At least.

Good evening, radu...and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Did you work at the museum today?

Sun is shining brightly right now, with a 50/50 chance of some rain tomorrow afternoon.

How are you fixed for the proper mix of rain and dry?

No rain, so I may go water a little later this evening.

Busy but pleasant day. Doing a little homework and next week is short. It’s not a pay week, but PLENTY to get done. And the new person should be here.

The boss says she has Cost Point experience....I sure hope so.

Yes, it was museum day once again and it was a fun day. A lot of nice folks stopped in to check it out, a few from out of state, and all enjoyed it.

Put a decent dent in the big tote of uniforms but that won’t last long. During a lull, I was taken out to the big shop building and shown a mountain of 4x4x4 ft. totes stacked up in there. Totes filled with items brought up from Tupelo, and many of those items are more uniforms. I’ll be busy for a while. LOL!

There was one stack set aside that has all WWI items and I told him they need to unpack those first! I imagine they’ll dig into them soon since the WWI section in the museum is a bit small at this point.

I hope you get some of that rain they’re predicting. The grass seed would be much appreciative. :-)

We’ve had pop-up showers around the state the past several days and have gotten a couple at the farm. Had a doozy this early this evening. The storm system in the Gulf will come up over us, I believe Tues., and they predict up to 4 inches of rain for us out of the deal.

Keeping fingers crossed for luck you’ll get a break from watering tomorrow. That would be a nice change, huh?

Glad your day was a good one even if it was busy. I hope the new gal catches on quickly to her job so she can take a load off the three of you the following week. Y’all NEED the break.

Did you swing by the SS office to check things out so you’ll be good to go on appointment day?

Hey, after the week you had, not being able to get motivated is quite understandable!

You’ve got two more days to check it out. :-)
