Tuesday, we broke down how based on publicly disclosed information, it is a logical and reasonable conclusion that politics played a major role in the origins of the FBI’s counterintelligence operation involving the Trump campaign and alleged connections with the Russian government.
Wednesday, investigative reporter Sharyl Atkisson amplified this idea at The Hill and laid out a devastating case:
(T)here’s a growing appearance of alleged wrongdoing equally as insidious, if not more so, because it implies widespread misuse of America’s intelligence and law enforcement apparatus.
Atkisson lays out eight major indications that the operation was directed at Trump, not the Kremlin, and was politically motivated.
Her observations include the plethora of wiretaps:
Secret surveillance was conducted on no fewer than seven Trump associates: chief strategist Stephen Bannon; lawyer Michael Cohen; national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn; adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner; campaign chairman Paul Manafort; and campaign foreign policy advisers Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.

Too bad Trump has no real intention of allowing Congress to do its job, but he is OK with a DOJ IG mucking about for years. He could, in a five-minute telephone call, demand Rosenstein hand over the documents, or tender his resignation, but he won’t, he’d rather bluster, blowhard, and play the Perils of Donald.

I wouldn’t be one bit surprised to find out that the Deep State is (again) eavesdropping on Atkisson at this very moment.

When you have a salary and pension to protect, the Constitution be damned.
THAT is what the great coverup is all about. Protecting Obama. The FBI and DOJ know that just one thread could unravel the entire thing and expose White House involvement. They therefore are concealing every bit of information they can in an effort to keep people from connecting the dots.
If you accept that scenario, everything going on makes sense.

FWIW, I thought Atkisson’s reporting has been pretty good. Sara Carter’s, too.
He weaponized the IRS against the Tea Party and politized the ATF (fast and furious), so its not much of a leap to weaponizing the CIA & FBI against his political opponents.
Why isn’t anything being done? For the sake of the country, the rule of law needs to prevail or it’s really over with Clinton and Obama winning after all.
