My troop job is to be host and chairman at the Eagle Scout court of honor.

The quality of youth receiving the award has not diminished. America is a better place because of their efforts.

Bert, while I've no doubt that many, many fine young men (and local adult leadership) are still involved in the organization,
our nation is poorer for the many more who'll not choose Scouting due to the the national leadership's continuing dilution of the standards which made the organization shine to begin with.
