James Clapper’s new book – let that sink in – makes claims against Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell

James Clapper, former director of National Intelligence for former President Obama, claims in his new book Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to sign a statement condemning foreign interference in elections.

In his book, “Facts and Fears, Hard Truths from a Life in Intelligence,” Clapper claims the two Republican leaders did not want to sign anything that would hurt their party’s nominee. Clapper was “disappointed, but not surprised,” he also wrote. Ryan and McConell have not responded to the claims.

During his appearance on “The View,” Clapper insisted the FBI was not spying on President Donald Trump’s campaign rather “on what the Russians were doing.” This was in response to Trump’s recent tweet calling for a Department of Justice investigation into whether or not his campaign was under unethical surveillance by the FBI and the Department of Justice.

“Honest. I didn’t break into that house to rob it. I just wanted to check the freshness date on the milk in the fridge. I wanted to make sure it was ok. It’s for the homeowner’s protection.”

From this point forward, Clapper will never look at a prison the same way again.

In Facts and Fears, Clapper traces his career through the growing threat of cyberattacks, his relationships with presidents and Congress, and the truth about Russia's role in the presidential election.

He describes, in the wake of Snowden and WikiLeaks, his efforts to make intelligence more transparent and to push back against the suspicion that Americans' private lives are subject to surveillance.

Clapper is one sick MF. Finally, it was living through Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and seeing how the foundations of American democracy were--and continue to be--undermined by a foreign power that led him to break with his instincts honed through more than five decades in the intelligence profession to share his inside experience.

Clapper considers such controversial questions as, Is intelligence ethical? Is it moral to intercept communications or to photograph closed societies from orbit? What are the limits of what we should be allowed to do? What protections should we give to the private citizens of the world, not to mention our fellow Americans?

.Are there times when intelligence officers can lose credibility as unbiased reporters of hard truths by inserting themselves into policy decisions?

Facts and Fears offers a privileged look inside the U.S. intelligence community and, with the frankness and professionalism for which James Clapper is known, addresses some of the most difficult challenges in our nation's history.

Clapper is one sick man.

If there was an AG worth his salt this guy would have been in leg irons before the ink dried on his pathetic book.

So the Deep State (just like J. Edgar Hoover of FBI fame) has been spying and blackmailing politicians for recorded history.

You got to wonder why Sessions recused himself. I am sure that the reason they wanted Hillary to win is because they knew that when push came to shove they had enough to blackmail her into doing anything or that at least they knew how corrupt she was and could be bought for a reasonable price.

So what evil things does the Deep State have on Ryan and McConnell? Does it matter?

Go Trump. Drain the Swamp

Are chubby crayons better?....

chubby crayons

Little school children are only able to hold and maneuver chubby crayons until they get into higher grades and use slender Crayola types. That’s what I meant.

The coloring book to be ghostwritten by the guy working on Clapper’s book contract would have to gear it to Clapper’s reading audience-—morons. I didn’t mean to be insensitive to the lying, deceitful, self-serving deep state criminal. I’m too kind a guy.
