Trayvon Martin's family claims Weinstein Company owes them $150,000

The parents of Trayvon Martin claim The Weinstein Company is trying to weasel out of its obligation to pay them at least $150,000.

Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin filed paperwork in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware on Friday claiming TWC signed a deal in March 2017 promising to pay the six-figure amount to produce a TV series based on their book, "Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin."

About a year after the event, I was sitting there and reading through the worthwhile information, then came to realize that you can tell the entire story in about ten pages of material. There’s just not that much of a story. Even trying to make a two-hour movie out of this....I don’t see how you’d ever achieve it.

That’s what happens when you go around messing with other people and their property.

Eventually you meet someone who won’t put up with it.
