If his name was Planned Parenthood, I fully agree with this.
That day will roll around soon. That’s the ultimate goal, to hold this country up to an impossible standard that no country in history has ever lived up to. It’s an imaginary land of perfection and the target keeps moving. We see who their heroes and icons are, and we see that they’re actually worse than historical figures in the United States which is the world’s best example of attempts to be fair and just to all citizens. But no, the goal is to erode the foundation of this country, our Founders and founding documents underpinning our laws and system of governance.
They don’t give two chits about this crap in reality, it’s all surface, otherwise they’d be denouncing Che Guevara, an actual virulent racist with copious quotes to back up that claim. But he’s a star, he’s photogenic, he sells t-shirts to budding young heads full of mush as well as those who are old enough to know better but choose not to. There are several on this forum, you’ll find them arguing the Union side vehemently but calling anyone who dares to point out the hypocrisy of that “Democrats” as if they’re not.
So far, it sounds like statues aren't being destroyed, just relocated, so history is getting moved somewhere else.
Yale University in Connecticut said last year that it would change the name of a residential college that honors John C. Calhoun, a 19th century alumnus and former U.S. vice president, who was an ardent supporter of slavery.
That's a touchy question. Calhoun is a lot better known than whoever replaces him. For years, people asked why Yale had a college named after John C. Calhoun. Once the name is changed, nobody will bother or care.
And if Yale does have a history that is entangled with slavery and racism, wouldn't you want that to be apparent up front, rather than whitewashing it?
Yale recently named another dorm after Benjamin Franklin. He had no connection with Yale, but the money came from Franklin Templeton Investments. Funny thing, Franklin was also a slaveowner for much of his life.
It could happen.
New Orleans deleted the name of George Washington School a number of years ago, because he owned slaves. It was renamed after a black person.
No word on whether deleting the name of the school helped either academic achievement or self esteem of the black students at that school.
Even left-wing Wikipedia won't cotton to that phrase, which they call "weasel words." Name and shame.

This type of war started about 20 years ago here in Minnesota. It started at the high school level when white liberals objected to high school mascot names like “Indians” or Warriors”. Yeah, there were some high profile Indians from the rez’s up north who objected too - but this was a urban metro-area driven initiative from white liberals - the same white liberals who have objected to Confederate statues and monuments.
So with the Department of Education behind them, these white liberals were able to browbeat and pester schools into erasing “racist” vestiges from state high schools.
You are 100% correct about moving the goalposts. It has happened and is continuing to happen.
It will happen unless we stop it. If the criteria is race and ‘racism’. Then most of our prominent American ancestors are in the crosshairs along with a huge portion of our history. Heck anything before 1965 is suspect and even today Trump and GOP are ‘racist’ and beneficiaries of ‘white privledge’. It will be interesting when push comes to shove if whites have the backbone nescessary?
Around the time all this crap really started (2015 I guess) I saw a fair number of Stars and Bars on both houses and trucks around Plymouth county. None recently.
Most likely that is the driving force behind it all as they have all the money and power to covertly do this with the help of the useful idiot elitists.
