I didn’t see ANY movies at all. Per Dad, Hollywood and the movie industry were straight from the depths of Hell. The first movie I saw was, “Lovers And Other Strangers”, at around 23 years old. Still never have seen a Disney movie.

You are so right. My grandmother took me to see a Bambi movie where the deer run to escape the forest fire...I became hysterical. What no one put together was the fire scene and our liberation from a Japanese POW concentration camp not a year before. It was just part of my “insanity”.
I am so glad I wasn’t a kid for too long. Miserable experience.
