I think there is some kind of rule that classified documents can’t leave the premises.

I wonder what exactly constitutes "the premises" right now. Perhaps the unredacted documents are now in the White House, not the DOJ?

They can be moved if transfer procedures are followed (documentation) and properly protected.

I was only half listening when they were talking about it but apparently most documents are stored in a highly secured area, almost like a library. They can go in and view them but they can’t make copies, take pictures, etc. I don’t know if that applies to this case of not or if it applies to the President but I know there is such a place according to the person that was being interviewed on Fox.
