I’ve known this since 1969 when Esquire printed a “new” Constitution in which there was NO right to keep and bear arms. The President would be called “Chairman”.

The country would be thrown into many pockets of chaos, which may make the rest of the country very nearly ungovernable.

And the guys who defy all directives to surrender guns will come to dominate the discussion. Appealing to moral constraint would have become a concept no longer recognized.

You cannot make a blanket declaration that guns are outlawed. You can only create more outlaws.

Guns will be made on bench tops in hidden workshops in many corners of this new world. Once the concept of guns has been introduced, it is a little hard to put that genie back in the bottle.

Cute. It is amazing how the addition or subtraction of a single letter can radically change the meaning of a word or phrase.

Addition of an 'e' (foi -> foie) changes 'faith' to 'liver' in French. 'Fois gras' would be 'Fat times'.

Subtraction of a 'm' changes 'Murine' to 'urine' in English.

FYI all: In Politically Correct speak, violent feral youth, especially of the Amish variety, are said to be “vibrant”. The noun form describing them is VIBRANTS. Most cop-killers are Vibrants, as are most Rappers. The “editor” of Esquire is a Vibrant, although perhaps an albino version.
