The Trump administration is showing no signs of slowing its slashing of Obama-era regulations, beating their plans to cut two for every new rule and saving more than double what was hoped for, according to a new report.

“The Trump administration is making substantial deregulatory progress,” said a new report from American Action Forum....The administration is prioritizing deregulation, and it is set 'to double' its goals of a two-for-one deregulatory-to-regulatory ratio and $686.6 million in net savings,” said the report from forum experts Dan Bosch, director of regulatory policy, and Dan Goldbeck, a senior analyst.

When he came to office, Trump promised to cut two regulations for every new one he imposed......The duo said that the percentage is actually 3.75 to 1, an unprecedented reduction.

Sadly, some future (D) president could just as easily undo this and lard on massive new regulations. The real solution is to significantly reduce the size and scope of the bureaucracies themselves. Cut their budgets and decrease their jurisdictions through changes in the law.

The idea is to unblock the drain so business can do business......no doubt “ reduicing the size and scope of the bureaucracies themselves. Cut their budgets and decrease their jurisdictions through changes in the law.” Is part of the plan, first things first is get the clogs out of the pipe.

BTW I noticed that Trumps not settling for just Executive Orders...he’s pushing them on through Congress as well so they become law not just a stroke of the pen.

I agree that is a problem, and likely will occur. But aversion to having something undone should not deter us from doing it, in this case, reducing bureaucracy.

It would definitely provide visible proof to people who doubt it. Look at the graphs below (which are a proxy for reducing legislative overhead...the size of and additions to the Federal Register over time, which is the comprehensive collection of all Federal laws and statutes on the books)

A very impressive showing by President Trump!

They do tell part of the story of Trump’s actual goal of reducing legislation, don’t they?

“How is the deregulation publicized?”

If you had any industry insights in any industry you’d know that industry publications publishes changes as much as the government agencies involved do.

So what’s your point, that you have no industry knowledge?

How about cutting that 1.6 gallon flush? Lightbulbs?

Plenty of car requirements to cut. New 2018 requirement for backup camera. Should cut airbag requirement too.

How about:

* Get rid of Ethanol Mandate.
* Sell or give the Corn to the Norks.
* Norks use it to feed livestock so their people can get some protein.
* We use it as an incentive to either give us their Newkee's or disassemble them.
* the Farmers make out ok, because they still a have a market.

How does this not work...
