Just back from the doctors with my husband. His kidney levels are better then they have been in a long time. :-)

He has been in chronic Kidney failure for years. Anything below 60 if maintained for 3 consecutive months is considered chronic. He had been at 44 for many years. Then sometime back he got real weak and I took him to the ER. His kidney levels at that time were at 33. If below 16 is kidney failure. Anyway they gave him IV's for 3 days. I don't know exactly what has made the change other then I have basically been forcing him to drink more water and making him eat more protein instead of sweets. His levels are now up to 47 which like I said is the highest they have been for as long as I can remember. I pray we can keep him that way. Doctor said his Hemoglobin is going lower though and we can't figure out what is causing that. He wants him to take iron or eat more foods with iron in them.

I didn’t see that about Schiff upset he wasn’t invited. He would run to CNN and leak immediately if he was. Remember when he kept leaving the room during some meeting and leaks were being reported at the same time?

Thanks for the reply, it sounds as if he was dehydrated. That has been a cause of my lower numbers also. I have been starting on 64 oz of water daily and no caffeine or wine. I hope this helps.
