Former CIA Director-turned-Twitter-troll, John Brennan sent out a cryptic tweet on Sunday quoting Cicero which had many wondering if he sent out a thinly veiled threat to Trump.

Not anymore.
They’re being taught that John Lennon and his ilk are philosophers.
Yup....this deep state scumbag is picking quotes from antiquity to sound profound. There’s no way out for him, almost all of the plot, or coup d’etat that they have tried to run on Trump is out there soon to be puzzled together.
I can buy that. If Brennan is saying: “I made mistakes. I know it. I will stop. Please have mercy. I was an idiot.” then the Cicero quote seems on point.
But people are saying he’s threatening Trump. I don’t see it.
What connection do the Awan brothers have to Brennan?
Cicero openly praised the assassination of Julius Caesar afterwards, and wished that he had been included in the plot:
“How I could wish that you had invited me to that most glorious banquet on the Ides of March” -Letter from Cicero to co-conspirator Trebonious, 43 BC
It’s absolutely astounding to me how many demented people are in government, never mind corrupt. It seems endless. Look at this freak Eric Schneiderman, the guy was a step away from being a serial killer, he got off beating women making them beg and THAT asshole was prosecuting people in a court of law? How many innocent women did this guy put away just so he could get off on it? How many women did he threaten with prosecution unless they called him “master” and begged for their life? And BTW notice how that’s all being brushed under the rug solely because they mofo is a far leftist. He resigns and oh, that’s it, nothing to see here, move it along.
I believe Brennan was responsible for the murder of Michael Hastings who was preparing an expose on Brennan.
Brennan needs to be brought to Justice.
Inshallah
Not Caesar but Marcus Antony.
I agree. There’s a whole lot of extrapolation going on here.
It’s not clear that he was referring to that event in Cicero’s long life.
Now if Brennan happened to quote the French lawyer Maximillen Robespierre, who advocated beheading of sceptics during the French Revolution, I would be a little more concerned.
Brennan is on the fast track to being the first American since the Rosenbergs to get executed for treason.
Sad to think that we have a whole Federal Bureau plus a CYA full of them!
Yes. Now THAT sounds like a threat! So why didn't Brennan say that??
Brennan said that anyone can make a mistake. That's NOT a threat.
It was during Cicero’s consulship that the second Catilinarian conspiracy attempted to overthrow the government through an attack on the city by outside forces, and Cicero suppressed the revolt by summarily executing five conspirators. During the chaotic latter half of the 1st century BC marked by civil wars and the dictatorship of Gaius Julius Caesar, Cicero championed a return to the traditional republican government. Following Julius Caesar’s death, Cicero became an enemy of Mark Antony in the ensuing power struggle, attacking him in a series of speeches. He was proscribed as an enemy of the state by the Second Triumvirate and consequently executed by soldiers operating on their behalf in 43 BC after having been intercepted during an attempted flight from the Italian peninsula. His severed hands and head were then, as a final revenge of Mark Antony, displayed in the Roman Forum.
Cicero was not many years before the arrival of the Messiah Jesus. Does history repeat itself.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. MARCUS CICERO
True and should be tweeted back at the Mohammedan creep.
Brennan is dirt, why do you assume anything but the worst from him?
Brennan best have 24/7 armed protection and be wearing full body armor. One way or another, there will be “justice.”
And I believe possibly Andrew Breitbart too.
