To: Texas Fossil

Is it just me, or over the last three months or so, some very big names in this have gotten a lot more muted at least, and at most, have entered what I assume is a self-imposed silence (or Lawyer-imposed)

When they get quiet...they stop lying. Oh, no, what I meant to say was, when they get quiet, they are beginning to think about where they are going to end up when this is all done. And a lot of them don’t like what they see.

Brennan is on the brink. He is still opening his yap, but someone MUST be tapping on his shoulder (a lawyer) saying quietly “Ummm...you need to stop making statements now. Everything you are saying now is only going to make your future harder to control.”

Yes. Cautious silence.

But remember a number of Congress have decided not to run for re-election. Like Congressman Paul Ryan.

Sobering thought for many.
