Understand that just as in Romans there are two groups involved: the crazy people who think their feels alone defines their gender and the far more numerous ideologically insane people who, though they do not personally trade in the madness of the few, celebrate it and demand it be honored and that society be reshaped around it and things like it.

This confused MAN would in a sane society be laughed out of court and maybe even institutionalized too depending on additional factors (such as if he might be a danger to himself and others). These insane ideologues would in a similarly sane society be subjected to marginalization that factually harmed their prospects in both private and public life.
