If there's one thing Donald Trump Jr. cleared up with his congressional testimony, it's that he doesn't remember a lot of things.
In a newly released transcript of his testimony, Trump repeatedly couched his answers about that June 2016 Trump Tower meeting by saying he did not “remember” or that he didn't “recall” certain things. Even when he was pretty sure, he'd say “not that I recall” or something like that. The result was a pretty cagey piece of testimony.

Considering the whole idea is to provide fodder for the Feds to drum up some kind of “process” crime, Don Jr. did exactly the right thing. Hell, I wouldn’t remember my own mother’s name if I were questioned this way.

If you find your questioners trying to spring a perjury trap, it’s good to just not give an answer other than you don’t recall. You can make a truthful statement about what you do recall and you can still get indicted for perjury if other testimony contradicts that.
No matter how well meaning and cooperative he wants to be he knows he has to be cautious about making a mistake in stating facts that he isn’t absolutely certain about.
Mueller and his Witch Hunters are lurking in the shadows to pounce on him for any statement they can prove to be not 100% correct.

Greg Jarrett said on Hannity TV today, that he can not find any law which criminalizes having foreigners volunteering to work for a campaign. In other words, for those of you who live in Rio Linda, there is no criminal statute violation to meet Russians who wish to help your campaign.
