Four Democratic candidates backed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) won primary elections for legislative seats in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
In the Pittsburgh area, Summer Lee and Sara Innamorato, Democrats who are both members of the DSA, won primaries for state House Districts 34 and 21.
Lee and Innamorato defeated state Reps. Paul Costa and Dom Costa, both Democrats. They do not have Republican opponents in the general election.
In Philadelphia, Democrats Elizabeth Fiedler and Kristin Seale won legislative primaries for House Districts 184 and 168. Fielder does not have a GOP opponent in the general election, while Seale will take on Rep. Christopher Quinn.
The DSA hailed the legislative victories as a huge moment for the socialist movement.
Arielle Cohen, co-chair of the Pittsburgh DSA chapter, told HuffPost that she feels a "monumental shift" after the victories, noting DSA’s growing membership since President Trump's election.
"We won on popular demands that were deemed impossible. We won on health care for all, we won on free education,” she said.
“We’re turning the state the right shade of red tonight,” she added.

It wasn’t just Pennsylvania. The Rat primary voters went full retard and selected a commie bernie bot for NE-2 who is campaigning on single-payer healthcare and repealing the 2nd Amendment. Essentially, they threw their chance at that seat away.
At least 2 American generations have not a single clue about what communism is or what happens to a country and its people who live under communism.
Who would want to live with a communist government? Those who want the power or those who are gullible and ignorant of what it is.

Can’t see how this possibly helps the Dems in the long run. They have primary candidates who are communists, and they Donkey Party doesn’t disavow them. Which is the same as a tacit endorsement. Makes it far easier to paint Dems as Socialists (which they are), without much effort. You can just point to the proof.
It will be interesting to see if the Dems who were defeated endorse the Socialists.

Communism is the most perfect form of government that could be conceived if human nature would accept it. Human nature will never accept it and it thus morphs into a great evil machine of death and tyranny. Story doesn’t even mention somebody Wallace, grandson of Henry Wallace, who won the ‘rat primary in one of the Philly suburban districts - Henry Wallace was VP under Saint FDR but was tossed off the ticket because his socialist/communist sympathies became too public - he would have been president instead of Truman had this not happened - his grandson has homes in South Africa and Maryland, but not apparently in the district in which he won - his ads touted his support for “progressive” positions such as gun and climate control, and his opposition to Trump “idiocies” - let’s hope he’s easy to beat......
