most of the time in terminal illness i have found GOD blesses people with a day where they feel well just prior to dying.
My Dad was truly a good, God-fearing, man. He passed away from Alzheimer's.
He was at home in the hospice bed we had installed and he opened his eyes and told my Mom and sister that he and his brother (who died in an accident in 1979) had a great day. He said it with a big smile on his face. He closed his eyes and at lunchtime the next day passed away.
