Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat has announced plans to rename a square near the new U.S. embassy site in the city in honor of President Donald Trump.
In a statement Tuesday, Barkat’s office announced that the square adjacent to the new embassy will be renamed United States Square "in honor of President Donald Trump."

Nixon was a friend to israel, in the midst of his watergate stuff I read he took a call and helped israel even though it caused him more trouble here.
Yea! for Trump! He rises to occasions instead of turning tail and running like so many of our “leaders” do. And now Trump is noticed by God and His people :) and honored big league!

Good observation. Given how virulently he is hated by the left (simply for living up to his promises), you could make a good argument Trump is Coolidge-like, just not as taciturn as Silent Cal.

Not to many people know how successful Polk was. He met his goals and did not run for a 2nd term.
I believe he told the British that he will pay for the Oregon Territory. Sell or else.

Thank you for sharing this. I did not know. I did know however the naming was a great honor for Oscar Schindler. But for some reason never thought about the underlying reason why. This information makes the naming of the Park even more awesome.
