Well he served his 5 years as a Navy Officer, got Masters Degrees in Intl Relations and in Business, , was sent to Moscow by Merrill Lynch to,open an office there, got involved in analyzing the energy sector, hooked up with some investors and started a business - he was a political junkie who liked going to International conferences ( good for building clients)
Nothing remarkable at all until the FB fixated on him and then used him as an excuse to wiretap Trump
Must be a brilliant guy to get the USNA scholar program and then masters degrees at Georgetown and NYU

The above is an excellent analysis. It gets to the key that unlocks the whole farcical Russian collusion witch hunt.
Halper can be detained for questioning and compelled to spill the beans. He can bring the whole affair out into the open and cause Mueller to be shut down. This is the reason that so many in the deep state are fighting to have him remain unidentified.
But there is one glitch that I attribute to WAPO disinfo, and that is their reporting (fake reporting) that the source will remain secret with the President’s assent. That doesn’t add up for me.
This source is key to the whole witch hunt. Detaining the source and bringing him for questioning gets to the bottom of who-what started the witch hunt. This is crucial. Read Sundance’s material in the link above.
