George Will is under the impression the American people ‘feel’ the same as phony ‘elites’ in Washington DC. They don’t.

Agreed. He must know that the reading ability of Americans is somewhere around the sixth grade level. His language is so high-flying, it goes over most heads. It’s a sotto voce aimed at the wrong audience.

Boiled down George Will is saying Trump’s horrible and crass but too tacky to know it ... Pence has sold his soul praising any right wingers... and he (George Will) is superior to all of them - even the dreadful deplorables.

It’s sad.

There was a time when Will’s desire to prove he was superior to everyone had a charm to it...now it’s devolved into mean-spirited pettiness.
