After many years as a workers comp case manager, I can say for certain that it takes a bad back injury to require a wheelchair or even a walker-multiple discs ruptured, a burst fracture, etc. The less severe ones can be managed quite nicely with a back brace until they heal—I wore one when I had a back injury for a short while myself several years ago. That woman is obese, gets drunk a lot and falls down as a result-maybe it is a brace but my money is on the kevlar vest...

By the way ....... I was ASA taking code at Fort Devens in Mass. when The 'sweet' Goldwater girl found her sweet self at Wellesley (right doen the road from Ft. Devens).

Kevlar vests are not that bulky. I Wore one daily for 24 years, not a vest.
