This is a lose-lose for these hardcore Democrat states.

If they counted their votes, only, they would have 100% chance of giving their votes to the Democrat.

HOWEVER

Since they are intending to base it on National Popular Vote, there is a chance THOSE ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTES WILL GO TO THE REPUBLICAN.

There is no upside here.

This is a great idea, FOR OUR SIDE.

Southack, you once spoke of political judo. Have you been pushing this idea in liberal circles? :) :) :)

I would agree except for Socialists (no longer call them Dims) cheat with dead, multiple, illegal, hanging chads, and lawsuits.

Always remember that the socialists took their Bush/Gore case to the Florida Supreme Court. They ruled in favor of Gore by changing the rules post election. The only reason Bush won was because the USSC said that Florida couldn't change their own laws without new legislation.

This seems like a can’t lose for Democrats as they nearly always win the popular vote. Now, maybe this will light a fire in red and purple states to push through and pass voter ID laws.
