RINO McCain was selected that year as the "designated loser". McCain knew he was supposed to lose to Obama, and he performed his job accordingly.

Just Causes? Which causes are those? Leaking incessantly to the press? Sucking up to the media? Stabbing his party colleagues in the back? Advocating military intervention where there is nothing to gain and no prospect of victory?
Great fights? With whom? His own party? His own voters? His own VP candidate who was the only asset on the ticket?
Political autobiographies are the worst as a rule. But if the senator is going to settle scores, he should have the courage to do so without bigging himself up in the process.
