(Breaking) N.Korea States Conditions; Threatens to Walk from Talks (from Korean sources)
SBS-TV South Korea and other Korean/Japanese news sources ^ | 6 May 2018 | SBS-TV South Korea original Korean

Summary synopsis of Korean language version (link above):

North Korea through the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) today stated that the barely one week old "Panmunjom Agreement" between Kim Jong Un and Moon Jae In is falling victim to "misinterpretation" by the United States and threatened the talks between Kim and Trump will go nowhere and "things will return to zero" if the following happens: a) there is no loosening of economic sanctions currently on North Korea even prior to denuclearization; b) there is any pressure on them in the area of human rights.

KCNA has, in fact, carried it, the official voice of the North Korean regime, stating also Kim Jong Un is in firm control of the talks from the DPRK side; further this statement is being relayed in major Japanese conservative daily "Sankei" Shimbun today in Japanese:

http://www.sankei.com/world/news/180506/wor1805060029-n1.html

I see AP and CBS carrying it in the US as well.

I would say “sir” would be appropriate & O.K. but I laugh at that sometimes, thinking of a humorous phrase that I remember that went something like “don’t call me sir I work for a living”.

>> Perhaps I’m just a bit jaded, but it would not surprise me in the slightest if the changes were suggested by Foggy Bottom.<<

I don’t think you’re jaded at all. That is exactly the kind of treasonous activity the Deep State operatives at State are likely to have engaged in. President Trump should have directed Pompeo and Bolton to micromanage the advance work, and should instruct them to do so beginning NOW!

>>For Trump, the Nobel Peace prize is a blemish on his record.

It puts him in league with recent laureates Barack Obama, Yasser Arafat, Jimmy Carter and Al Gore<<

If Trump is looking for an easy way to grow and solidify his support base, he should simply decline to accept that besmirched prize if it is ever offered.

Or he could accept it, and donate the money to the NRA.

He’s helped if he talks, the people hurt if he doesn’t. Not that he cares.

Impossible! The Q-cult says that Kim met secretly with POTUS Trump in the Forbidden City back in Nov. 2017 and that the deal is already completely done.

/s

Well it’s not exactly sarcasm, they really do believe/say that, but I find it just a wee little bit hard to swallow.

Media is doing all it can to insure this deal fails - then they’ll blame it on Trump.

If successful, they will credit Kerry and Obama, and S Korea and China

Likewise there is the well known propensity of the US/Western world’s spooks to keep us on the warpath.

Yeah, and we usually sweeten the pot with a few billion dollars. Hopefully, this Administration puts a halt to that crap. It’s always a shakedown...no more.

Bingo. Kimmie Boy is hungry, there's nothing left to plunder from his own people and he has to give the military leave to go scrounge for food because they're running low/out also.

These are the last gasps of a despot dictator who's in serious trouble of being done in by one of his own.

Keep up the pressure President Trump! Kimmie Boy's own military will do him in soon enough!

You have the right instinct to distrust the State Dept.

But believe me, this is entirely coming from the North. It is common tactic.
There was nothing of concrete specifics in the Kim-Moon love fest last week.

That is why the President must lower expectations and stop publicly overvaluing the Panmunjom meeting which was all optics and bullshit anyway, and defuse this unhelpful and somewhat inappropriate Nobel talk when we are still a zillion miles away from securing true denuclearization. It will likely only happen when the Kim family is no longer in power or the Workers Party has fallen.

China and NK have different approaches and tactics and wants, however they are united in one key aspect. They both deeply want the USA driven from the region; they want a failed USA in retreat from Asia.

They are both communists. Get it?

It’s not difficult to assemble the pieces.

My own assessment is that the talks will not even occur. But we will see.

That's a disingenuous statement Tokyo..The other day you declared the whole thing as being, "All show and bull sh*t" while implying everyone at FR were being duped. You said this repeatedly.

So why would you now say, "We'll see"? Is this to ensure you're somewhat right either way this goes?☺

chill out man

Boy, what a weak predictable weak response. You describe my tag line below perfectly.☺
