America would probably try to straddle the two. Turkey is the more important power, but Greece is in the right, so I would say to support Greece. But Greece is far weaker than Turkey.

Yep. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Turkey set this whole thing up, hoping to make Greece appear to be in the wrong. A Turkish cargo ship “accidentally” wanders onto a Greek warship’s path. The Greek warship fires on the “innocent” Turkish cargo ship. Turkish warplanes respond.
But the Greek ship did not open fire. Oh well. Erdogan can try another day.
If we are going hypothetical here I’d kick Turkey out of NATO last Monday.
