Cause the house & senate, both Republicans & Democrats, have told Trump they will not ALLOW him to appoint a new AG.
They don’t have squat on Sessions.
He’s a member of the US senator’s club.
Once you swim in the DC swamp, you develop a taste for the corrupt waters.
President Trump’s mistake was putting a member of congress in a position of authority in the executive branch.
Whether Sessions is doing his job or not is irrelevant. There’s always that seed of doubt looming that the guy may be a plant, or possibly just a do nothing placeholder running interfernce for the cabal that are actually running things.
From what I see, mueller and Rodenstein are actually running the DOJ, and sessions is just a mouse in the corner.
Either “they” have something on Sessions or he is part of the deep state and was a plant.
They either have something on him or they convinced him they can make everyone BELIEVE they have something on him. It’s obvious the deep state wanted Rosenstein in charge of Mueller. Sessions should have gone to Trump and said “They’ve got me. I have to resign.”
But, it could be they control these people and make them stay on the job so they can control him.
Trump should go in tv and tell how he’s being threatened and who’s doing it.
Always said if she hadn't gotten to be Senator and then SOS, we'd never know how dirty she is/was.

Sessions said he was recused, and I believe him.
I doubt it. More likely....regrets getting his children involved.

I’m fond of Mr. Mayor but I think he would have been a bad choice as AG.
As I said on here the day of the inauguration, or the day of the election, I don’t remember which, Trump needed a team of experienced LE people ready to go the minute he lifted his hand off the Bible, to replace the entire leadership structure at the DOJ and the FBI.
That new team needed to be from outside DC, not people in the past closely connected to the DOJ. Take top state prosecutors from red states and put them at the top level of the DOJ. And confirming those people had to be Job One. Give Congress NOTHING they want until the Senate confirms Trump’s DOJ picks. The absolute first thing to do after the inauguration.
You can’t appoint people emotionally attached to the DOJ as it was back under Reagan or the Bushes if you want them to dispassionately clean out and prosecute esteemed uniparty deep state operatives.
And the new FBI head should have been a career special agent not involved in the instances of FBI abuse, and not former prosecutors/defense counsel like Mueller, Comey or Wray.
The basis of deep state power lies in the Justice Department. Sadly, Trump did not understand that when he came into office.
Because the Senate will not approve a replacement if Trump fires Sessions.
Magoo choosing to remain in place, ignoring the president's wishes, is even more damaging than his recusal. Sessions is a low-life.

He should gather all who has been negatively affected and let them tell their stories. Our government is corrupt and can not be trusted and it needs to be exposed.

Fire Sessions, fire acting AG Rosenweasel, fire the next acting AG, fire the next, repeat until you find get someone who is not a DS stooge as acting AG. The alternative is to allow the Sessions enabled coup to continue and to possibly succeed.
