President Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said late Wednesday that men like senior presidential adviser Jared Kushner are "disposable," but it would cross the line for the special prosecutor to go after first daughter Ivanka Trump.
"Jared is a fine man, you know that," Giuliani said on Fox News. "Men are disposable. But a fine woman like Ivanka? Come on."
The former New York mayor appeared on Sean Hannity's show to attack special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Trump's campaign and Moscow.

I thought Giuliani made an ass of himself on Hannity last night, but then, I’ve never been much of a fan anyway. I do know, however, that if my ass were on the line and my attorney sounded like Giuliani, I’d find another attorney.

I had mixed feelings about the interview.
On one hand, it is time for the WH to get their side of the story out there in the public and defend the President. Out of his attorneys there is little doubt that Rudy would be the right guy to do this. His attorneys have been far too silent in my opinion and this is why I was excited when it looked like DiGenova was coming on board. He hammers them and the best defense in a public opinion battle is a good offense.
On the other hand, his answer about Kushner was horrific. It would have been much better framed as an attack on the Presidents family. Period. Every American would understand that instinctively and bristle at the thought. What we ended up with was..... don’t attack his little girl, but her husband and the father of his grandchildren is fair game. That was a bizarre statement by any measure unless there is something we are missing. This was my fear all along with the SC and these investigations - that they would go after his family for partisan purposes and I can’t think of anything that would illicit more rage from Trump than to attack his family.

It wasn’t just those. It was suggesting maybe a sit down for 2 or 3 hours tops. Why a sit down at all. Hannity did a far better job of trying to swat any sit down away. I hope Trump does not let his friendship with Rudy to continue to cloud his judgement. He needs top notch defense attorneys. Not friends.
