On Sunday, the Roman anti-Christ opened his mouth and inserted both feet as he displayed a profound ignorance of how the world actually works. On Sunday, he tweeted, "Do we really want peace? Then let’s ban all weapons so we don’t have to live in fear of war."
Seriously, this is the most moronic thing someone could say. I say, "You first, Popey! Start with your own army and disarm them."
Even if there was a declaration of banning every weapon, those weapons would still exist. They just don't disappear into thin air! Not that the Vatican wasn't heretical enough with all its false teachings, but this guy is making them look downright stupid.

That would be fine as long as you can guarantee me that law enforcement will be omnipresent like my Glock 19 and Glock 42 are. Because criminal acts can normally be done long before law enforcement can be notified and arrive on the scene.

The pope has no jurisdiction over implements of war. He does, however, have direct and absolute authority over sin. Were he serious about peace he would call for the immediate end of sin through the absolution of Christ’s blood and the unity of His body with God.
It is, of course, entirely plausible that Francis had his tongue in his cheek when he made his silly comment.
We would, after all, beat our swords into plowshares if we truly wanted peace. Not that such an act would end war. It would render us helpless in the face of violent adversaries.
Better to build weapons of war as a defense against invasion than suffer the anguish of rape and plunder as helpless victims.
Please forgive my seeming lack of respect but on a related subject persons that denounce walls should set the example by not having walls around them, by tearing down walls around them.
This fellow has denounced American plans for a wall yet the Vatican has an enormous physical wall around it.
