Roseanne Barr said Sunday that she thanked President Trump for moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem during a phone call with the president.
"I said, 'Mr. President, on behalf of my mother, I want to thank you ... for moving the embassy to Jerusalem. Thank you so much,'" Barr said at The Jerusalem Post's annual conference in New York. "And he said, 'Well, you know a lot of presidents have promised it, but I wanted to get it done.'"
"I think it's the first step to peace in the world, I really do," added Barr.
Trump announced late last year that the U.S. would formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The relocated embassy is scheduled to open next month.

Roseanne Barr was born in Salt Lake City, to a working-class Jewish family. She is the oldest of four children born to Helen (née Davis), a bookkeeper and cashier, and Jerome Hershel “Jerry” Barr, who worked as a salesman. Her father’s family were Jewish emigrants from Russia, and her maternal grandparents were Jewish emigrants from Austria-Hungary and Lithuania, respectively.[6] Her paternal grandfather changed his surname from “Borisofsky” to “Barr” upon entering the United States.
Her Jewish upbringing was influenced by her devoutly Orthodox Jewish maternal grandmother. Barr’s parents kept their Jewish heritage secret from their neighbors and were partially involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Barr has stated, “Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning I was a Jew; Sunday afternoon, Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesday afternoon we were Mormons.”

They were saying the same thing in ‘82, on SNL no less. a When the Berlin Wall was taken down, and the world was still here, I strongly suspected that the Leftists were wrong about everything. When David Dinkins was up for reelection, and Bill Clinton suggested that anyone who voted against him was a racist, after the Korean grocery boycott and the Crown Heights pogrom, I became certain that they were not just wrong, but liars.
Entertainers are no longer uniformly left wing, marching in lock step on all issues. Kanye West and Roseanne are only the beginning.
