Mueller’s investigation of Trump ‘needs to conclude,’ Sessions says
The Washington Times ^

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Thursday that an ongoing probe into President Trump “needs to conclude” in order to let him focus on North Korea, the U.S.-Mexico border and other world negotiations.

Mr. Sessions also said he expects the Justice Department inspector general to finish his investigation into the department’s and FBI’s handling of investigations into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election in a “few weeks,” saying that will provide more information for decisions on whether there was wrongdoing.

Funny, even a recused AG could order Rosenstein to sh!t or get off the pot.

Produce, or close it.

And as one of the Fox & Friends’ hosts reminded President Trump this morning, it is HIS Justice Department.

Even the chairmen on these congressional hearings are starting to openly call on the President to demand that the DOJ turn over ALL of the documents they have been painstakingly seeking for months.

And I don’t blame them one bit. This has become utterly ridiculous.

I know that the President is trying to avoid the appearance of meddling in these investigations, however, it is unseemly and unnecessary for the President of the United States to publicly complain about and criticize his own AG, when he has the power to fire him or anyone else in the DOJ.

Trump is a wounded POTUS. His own DOJ has subjected him to a never-ending politically-motivated witch hunt. When Trump mentioned the possibility of firing Sessions the senators in his own party pledged to unleash hell on him. McConnell is slow walking Trump’s appointments and judges. When judges flagrantly violate the Constitution in order to further weaken Trump his own party never rises to his defense.

Until Trump can, God willing, get out from under Mueller’s brazen attempt to destroy him, he has to pick his battles carefully. If he issues a command publicly and it’s defied, his presidency will be seen as a joke. Apparently he’s already been defied in private:

‘Now we know why Strzok and Page still have a job.

According to an exclusive report by Vox, both Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray have refused to fire anti-Trump FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, even after President Trump gave the order more than once.’

‘The investigation has produced a big nothing’

We won’t know what Mueller has until he submits his report. Mueller has a history of framing innocent people. When the press and DC are 90-95 percent behind you, you can get away with quite a lot.

When the IG report comes out will Sessions use it to cut a deal with Mueller? Sessions could tell Mueller to shut the Special Counsel invstigation down and in return he (Sessions) won’t prosecute Comey, McCabe, Hillary, etc.

That would set too dangerous a precedent that Democrats can commit crimes against the nation, and all they have to do is frame a Republican on trumped up charges to get away with the prisoner exchange on the bridge, so to speak.

There were real, serious crimes committed against the nation, including spying on Americans (including opposition party politicians), lying to courts, mishandling classified documents, taking bribes for policy decisions, and on and on.

These can't just be dismissed in a trade for dropping a bogus investigation on the other side, or Democrats will always concoct an opposition charge to sweep away their own crime.

And then, when it's all done, the bold, audacious, Democrats get away with another free kick me against Republicans; they get to do the crime to advance their agenda and the Republicans are forced to stay on the high road.

“Mueller has a history of framing innocent people. When the press and DC are 90-95 percent behind you, you can get away with quite a lot.”

Yep. It is beyond me how anyone can claim with a straight face that Mueller is working in sync with Trump.

The fact that Mueller is backed by the mainstream press should tell anyone that Mueller is not on Trump’s side.

Maybe Louie Gohmert’s report on Mueller is having an effect...

After reading this article, I think one of the main targets they’re going after is mueller. Maybe this whole thing was a set up to scoop most of the main players. Mueller actions are being played out before the whole world.
