I don’t care what level he served at/in the military, so it pains me to see him tarnish his possible otherwise clean military record like that.
Makes you wonder how much he attained in life in part due to this false claim.
If he’s still alert, its too bad he has to face being revealed at this time in his life. Bad things have a nasty way of coming back to haunt you when you least expect it.

Boy...I've told a fib or two in my day but I'd *never* lie about my military service.Having never gotten closer to combat than Fort Knox and Fort Dix I have too much respect for those who were in danger.
And to top things off this guy did it to make Osama Obama,a guy who never even tried to *hide* his contempt for our Armed Forces,look good.

No one who served needs to embellish. I went Air Force ROTC, thinking I’d get to flight school, but flunked the flight physical! USAF still found me useful behind a desk, though. When people ask me what I did during the Vietnam War, I tell them I pushed paper. Why lie? I didn’t try to get out of serving and would have gone in harm’s way if they’d let me. DoD had other plans. I’m not embarrassed.
