After only a few decades, history shows that these “jobs” will degenerate into starving people sifting through human feces with their fingers, looking for corn kernels to eat for survival...

Great idea, Democrats.

So no more welfare or unemployment system or payments? No more welfare healthcare? No more free phones? No more buracracy to administrate such programs? No more EBT cards?

Why a 'federal jobs guarantee' is gaining steam with Democrats

Let me take a stab at it....AHHH..votes maybe? Union votes maybe? Enlarging unions maybe? Raising taxes maybe?

Question: If you are chronically unproductive on your guaranteed job, or show up late, or miss work, can you be fired?

If so, what happens to you then? Does the government simply invent another guaranteed job for you?

What the government gives, the government can take away. Why don’t these idiots get that?

This is where Bernie got it wrong.

The US has been doing this for decades.

It’s called “government.”

Biggest question is:

Where is the money coming from to pay those guaranteed wages? Government work does not produce anything that pays for itself, so, they’ll have to extract it from the real producers, but, it’s doubtful there would be enough productivity from the private economy to pay the guaranteed jobs. Logically it can’t work.

The are two lines, the signs say:

1) FREE STUFF (until it runs out)

2) STUFF YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR (plenty for all)

Which line is longer?

Oh sure! Let's RE introduce the western hemisphere to ‘serfdom’... we didn't spill enough blood, do enough dying, struggle, sacrifice or work hard enough to get rid of it, the FIRST time around.

I mean...really? Servitude to the f’n government? Surrender your personal autonomy, independence, your future, your opportunities, your privacy, your family, your fortune, your very soul to the f’n fed? Palleeease!

“People working under the federal job guarantee will be serving their communities and their country, uniting together in a common purpose, rebuilding the social fabric of our nation,” it reads.

At first I thought I really don’t want a job, but then Bernie offered me a federal government position as a “Social Fabric Rebuilder.” We work from home or cell phone, calling each other, and bargaining for higher wages and better working conditions.
Who can live on $15 an hour?
