Surprise. In fact, Sessions inherited an ongoing investigation by the Inspector General Michael Horowitz. There was an investigation under way (perhaps many) at the very moment Sessions uttered those words. Horowitz had been, in the words of Arlo Guthrie, “oppressed, suppressed, repressed sitting on the Group W bench.” His legitimate investigations under the Obama regime had been squelched, sidetracked, or unceremoniously cancelled. Horowitz was one of those rare Washington creatures: a man who actually has a sense of honesty in his mission.

I’ve also put in a vast amount of time understanding the ‘everything you say can and will be used against you,’ approach. It’s the hostile prosecutor approach, great in the courtroom and pretty vicious elsewhere.

So maybe the solution, instead of deriding things you don't agree with (or find silly) on this and other threads is to let them go– rather than deriding people having otherwise civil discourse.

Why don’t you spare me the lecture. I’ve already had lectures from the 4DChess chess cabal. Their standout feature is a hopeless cluelessness.
I did not know this but it makes sense.
Larry told me this some time ago and I have struggled to believe it. Often coming down hard on Sessions. But truth is Trump is probably behind all this and he’s seldom wrong and usually the smartest guy in the room.
I have already learned never to second guess Trump.
I think LS has it right on this. But I always trust and revere Trump. To think that Trump does not have a hand in all this is probably naive. Trump is most likely behind all the strategy and in that case I’ll stick with him.
This is a vacuous statement.
Without facts there is no possibility of accurate conclusions. While awaiting facts we interpret events & statements & hypothesize. There are many ways to organize the information we have access to and there is much information we do not have and may never have. It is a huge mistake to suggest that we can make accurate conclusions without a full set of facts. The more facts the more accurate the conclusion. It is way too early to suggest Jeff Sessions is not a patriot who is attempting to return Justice to America.
Please tell me who is forcing you to read these threads so that I can petition the mods to ban them.
