Unless you’re fine with the second half of Trump’s first term spent dealing with impeachment (What ‘high crimes’ you ask? Why would the lack of actual evidence matter to the dems).
The pols with R’s after their names want Trump gone as much as the Dems. D. R. They’re all uniparty to me. Party means jack spit any more.
The GOP is going to lose the house, but likely gain in the Senate, and the biggest reason is the GOP didn’t and hasn’t given the MAGA voters a reason to care! Instead of helping Trump achieve his goals, by and large when the legislature was needed they FAILED.
So those MAGA voters are not going to show up to reward them.
The dynamics for the fall at this point are this... if you are on the left it will be a referendum on Trump and if you are anyone else its a referendum on the GOP....
And the GOP will lose that dynamic because of their actions and their messaging.
If the GOP doesn’t wake up and start taking MAGA seriously and talking to those voters instead of simply talking to the reliable R voters, they will lose the house this fall.
It will have NOTHING to do with Trump.... in fact the best chance for the R’s to win in spite of themselves would be for the D’s to openly run on impeachment in the fall... If they do that, suddenly they make the race a referendum on Trump for everyone and if that happens the GOP no only holds the house, but gains 20+ seats.

This ineffectual NeverTrumper is tickled to get television exposure, and is overjoyed to try to undermine Trump and his conservative base. He would be positively ECSTATIC if the democrats won the House, but in the Name of Jesus, he is not going to get his wish! Pray without ceasing.
