Attorney General Jeff Sessions has decided he will not recuse himself from the probe into President Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen but will think about taking a step back from some questions tied to the investigation, according to Bloomberg.
Sessions' move to stay involved in the Cohen probe will allow him access to briefings on the status of the investigation, and to voice his opinion on certain decisions made by prosecutors.
The attorney general angered the president last year when he made the decision to recuse himself from the federal probe into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russian election meddling. He has since been the subject of Trump's wrath in a series of tweets and public comments.
Sessions' decision to remain involved in the Cohen probe allows Trump to ask him to reveal details and information about the probe.
The probe into Cohen is being led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York.

Sessions job is not to keep you up to date on what he’s doing. In fact his job is NOT to do that but to...do his job.

Congressman Jim Jordon said last night that he was sending Session a letter today asking if he approved of the raid.
This must be Session’s answer; No, he wasn’t in on the raid, but he will watch over the case carefully.
Actually, it was The Turtle. Moe Brooks was a shoe in for the general election, but the Turtle hates him because he's in The House Freedom Caucus. The Turtle sent out the word that Brooks was to get no money, and put his turtleneck cash behind Strange.
The people of AL got pissed and refused to back Strange. Enter the old guy on a horse who used to creep on teens. You know the rest.

But when the race came down to Roy Moore or a Democrat, Sessions refused to support Moore. And now we have the Democrat in the Senate.
One bright spot is the movement to pull crap non-Russia away from Mueller. He’ll run out of stuff soon, and shut down. That’s why Simpson of Fusion GPS is going apeshit about other Russian ties to Trump from years ago.
But Mueller is limited to things affecting the election. Supposedly. Now it’s being enforced. Mueller’s days are numbered.
Don’t get me wrong: Sessions is a shuffling disaster 8 ways.
Sessions did tell a whopper lie to boost Cruz campaign when Sessions was supposedly backing Trump. Sessions said Cruz singlehandedly defeated amnesty. A brazen lie; amnesty passed in the Senate with ease and Cruz had ZERO to do with its eventual fate in the House.
The shameless lie injected momentum into Cruz’ campaign when it needed it most. Cruz’ resurgence came at Trump’s expense.
Strangely believe it but Sessions could obtain a warrant and then order the FBI to raid the current location of the Cohen documents and return them.
I’d rather have Sessions in charge rather that Rosenstein.

So he won’t recuse himself but he will step back from actually doing anything. Uh huh. Got it. Situation normal, Sessions doing nothing.

I would rather have Rudy or donut lover from NJ in charge than Sessions or Rosenweasel.

But the DOJ had to authorize the FBI raid.

Anything’s possible but not sure if they have a relationship or if it’s proper with Rudy being on Trump’s legal team to discuss the case.
More likely, the Silent Executioner is tidying up the store for the final hammer blow after the IG Report Pt. 2, is scheduled for release next month.
There’s going to be hell to pay and sadly, for many of our FRiends here, a lifetime of egg on the face.
