Yeti Coolers, a go-to for sportsmen around the country, is cutting ties with the NRA Foundation without explanation or prior notice. The NRA Foundation is a charitable organization.
The separation comes although Yeti products have long been a staple at Friends of NRA Foundation Banquets and functions.
NRA-ILA quoted NRA past president and USF executive director Marion Hammer saying, Suddenly, without prior notice, YETI has declined to do business with The NRA Foundation saying they no longer wish to be an NRA vendor, and refused to say why. They will only say they will no longer sell products to The NRA Foundation.
Hammer pointed out that the NRA Foundation raises money to support youth programs and educational programs nationwide and says Yeti should be ashamed.

Overrated and obscenely priced. No loss.
“Overrated and obscenely priced. No loss.”
I agree 100% this crap is made in China and WAY over priced but some FOOLS still buy this crap!!
Scam of a product. Spend hundreds of dollars and all you get is the sticker for your vehicle.
"...YETI..."
I go RTIC over Yeti any day. Can’t bring myself to support much out of Austin. This just reinforces it.
A similar article this weekend I posted this:
Had been thinking of getting a good cooler for my fishing boat.
I now know which one is now out of consideration
I reached out to Yeti over the weekend along with my contact information. Will be interesting to see if they respond. Companies taking any stand against the 2A need to hear from the public. They also need to see revenue decline.
One by one, you tell which companies have been invaded by PC lefties. It’s like a cancer. If your business catches it, it’s just a matter of time.
WTF do they think their customers are? Latte sipping shoppers or Hunters?
The biggest gun store in the ATL area is probably Adventure Outdoors. Their inventory of firearms is significantly bigger than the Cabelas here. They are basically a huge gun store with some ancillary hunting and camping items.
AO has a big Yeti section in the store, and their products are featured on the entire front page of their latest multi-page (8, I just counted) tabloid style sale flyer.
I really wonder if AO will kick Yeti to the curb over this.
Is it up to them to decide this? I dont think so.
Stupid move. Alienating Sportsmen who would account for a good portion of your sales.
Yeti is more of a status symbol then a better cooler.
There’s something wrong with corporate America. They could have stopped supporting the NRA and said nothing and nobody would notice. They have to advertise cause they think it’s cool and that there are more people who care than people who don’t.
I can’t help but think there’s a grand conspiracy with agents in the executive leadership of Corporate America.
Just a perception though is it seemed it all started in the 2000’s with Michael Eisner, Disney CEO advocating political action in Corporate America.
It will keep stuff hot or keep stuff cold
How does it know?
Guess that's going to come to an abrupt halt.
I bought one when they had a REALLY good sale (more than 50 % off demo models).
Now I'm sorry I did. Do I burn it in the town square, or what?
There's at least one country song that mentions a Yeti cooler.
Good luck selling your crap ONLY to the Star Bucks snowflakes, Yeti. STUPID decision.
Thanks for the info.
